The Harken roller furling system and roller reefing systems have recently gone thru a design change.  Chose a MKIV roller furler for offshore use or the Cruising version for coastal applications.  The new style Harken roller furler system and roller reefing systems use a standard turnbuckle for stay length adjustment.  The turnbuckle attaches to a link/toggle assembly that is specific to each size of roller furler.  What this means is that if your current head stay is fairly new and the turnbuckle is most of the way open these units can be installed with out head stay modification in most cases.  The Harken roller furler system, and roller reefing units have a MAP pricing limitation but you can check out our selling price using our new shop on line feature at www.riggingandhardware.com and enter the part number in the search box and click on add to basket, call us, or send an e-mail.  The site is under construction so you'll need to use the search function and type in the part number listed below than add the part to your basket.  Be sure and include the lower end fitting when you price out Harken roller furling and roller reefing units.

Harken roller furling systems have aerodynamic extrusions and tough inter lock connectors to withstand roller reefing loads.  Drums use free rolling, low maintenance Torlon bearings in the MKIV units and Delrin bearings in the cruising versions.  Harken roller reefing systems have a large inside spool diameter for easy roller reefing.  Free spinning Air Swivels are high strength and remove weight aloft.  Easy to assemble.  7 year warrantee.
